Skinned alive is a pretty short game. I believe it has potential to be a full on real game. I loved the aspect and the idea it has going. Video starts in 7:28
This game was pretty intense. The sounds of the chainsaw had me at the edge of my seat and the changing corridors added a sense of desperation to escape. With every turn, I expected the killer to be waiting for me. The style of graphics gave the game a dark and gritty look and the jumpscares were well placed without being over the top.
Just a couple of critiques: I ran into a bit of a problem with the vent towards the end of the game - sometimes it would fall in a way that blocked my access to the key and I couldn't move the vent to reach it. I also found that the sprint bar was a bit on the short side, especially when it came to running for my life to get out of the cells.
All-in-all, I enjoyed your game - it was a nice short horror experience.
I wanted to make the vent in the end physics based thats why sometimes it gets stuck u just have to wait till the door opens fully and then take it down, thanks for the feedback and I am glad u enjoyed it!

Very fun game! Loved the style and was a very big fan of the not too cheesy jumpscares. I actually didn't expect most of the jumpscares so it was a good experience.
The last thing I want is to be skinned alive hahaha but I was cornered and had to accept my fate! The experience was very fluid with a nice touch of classic horror elements. Not once did it feel janky lol truly enjoyed it from start to finish!
Normally, the game is set to open on your main monitor by default but urs is a special case, I can think of a few solutions but the easiest one is to prob disconnect the 2nd monitor while u are playing
If you are on windows, an easy way to fix this is pressing Shift + Windows Key + Arrow Key. Press the arrow keys in whichever direction your other monitor is.

Cool game, but it needs a "New Game" option. I tried to replay to make a video, but it's stuck at the end when you get the key from the wheelchair. Tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail.
I would love to feature this game on my channel, so hopefully this will be added in a new update.
Basically the checkpoint saves some files on ur PC and thats why u cant restart even if u reinstall, but u can just delete those files and play a "new game", I thought adding it as an option but I decided that no one will want to replay the game from the start, https://virtual-reality-piano.medium.com/solved-where-is-unitys-playerprefs-stor... , this is how u do it and u have to replace company name with ViksyProductions and SkinnedAlive for the game name, u will see it

just a note: a tiny bug, I crashed during the end sequence, and I went up the stairs and back into the room a little while after triggering the scene,and walked back through the door, and it happened. Happens at 16:50 of the video, thought maybe I'd let you know! Still an awesome game though, keep it up YESSIR!

Although the premise was good the way the story was executed didn't feel right, maybe I missed something but the demon guy felt very out of place even with all the ritual stuff around.
Whenever I got close to a wall with the flashlight the way the light would reflect was very out of place
I've tried making games before and never finished so I can kind of understand what it's like to make a game and try to get all the details down. I reckon with enough time your games will turn out a lot better, I haven't played your other games so I don't know if it's just horror that's your weak point but whatever it is you'll definitely improve.
Hopefully I didn't come off rude in any of that, I think I'll check out some of your other games as they look pretty cool. Good luck on your game making journey.
I definitely see what you mean with the flashlight, and the ui - its basically all centered and aligned, I just made it how I liked it, but overall I agree with you. I can improve in many different aspects but that will come with time and practise. That demon is kinda representing the souls of the people the killer had killed before, just haunting the place since their soul never left the place

gotcha, you could always replay, there is a checkpoint, just press play and u will be in the end part
